A weekend full of stories, music, and comedy! With this year’s theme Celebration, we mark five years of Storytelling Festival Nijmegen and explore all the reasons we have to celebrate: love, freedom, diversity, health, or simply life itself. Join us for three inspiring days guided by storyteller and comedian Soula Notos, our vibrant festival host.
On Purple Friday, December 12, we celebrate diversity and the freedom to love and be loved. The evening starts with Can Bora’s Henna Night Reimagined, a poetic and inclusive performance that transforms a traditional Turkish ritual into a celebration for everyone. Later, join Soula Notos for Queer Shorts, a lively mix of stories and comedy from Sytze Bouma, Bronwyn Isaac and Joseph Kearney. Together they bring warmth, laughter and courage to the stage, creating a joyful celebration of love and community.
