The Leap is a solo show by singer Nora Fischer. But in this performance, she will not sing on stage. Instead, she explains why she suddenly could not sing anymore. A strong cramp in her throat stopped her, even when she wanted to sing Happy Birthday.

Nora looks for answers. She talks about the pressure of big stages and the pressure she gave herself. The joy she once felt slowly changed into fear of criticism. She also shares the pain of seeing her sister struggle while her own voice disappeared.

But Nora does not give up. Her parents called her “The Tank” because she keeps going. She asks important questions: how can happiness turn into so much tension? And why do we chase perfection?
